Southern Beaufort County came together to develop the Path Forward Readiness Plan to support re-opening efforts post COVID-19. This plan supports all our core sectors and industries, ranging from Restaurants and Hotels to Arts and Culture, Early Childhood and Retail.

And, we want the public frequenting your business to do so with confidence. That’s why we’ve
developed a “pledge” seal that you can physically display at your place of business after
reviewing the safety details specific to your business, and signing the official pledge.

What is The Path Forward Readiness Plan?

A comprehensive start-up strategy for re-entry post quarantine, incrementally reopen
businesses using the appropriate protective measures necessary to safeguard
the health of our community, workforce and visitors.

Nine teams will address specific industries and sectors, working to identify and help craft solutions that can assist businesses in The Southern Beaufort County area successfully navigate the re-opening efforts post COVID-19.

The Path Forward Steering Committee is lead by Ray Warco, C.P.A. and has representation from.

  • The Town of Bluffton
  • Hilton Head Regional Healthcare
  • Other Healthcare Professionals

There are nine task force groups, each group has a chair or co-chair and representation from that particular business segment, local leadership and residents.
