Advocacy 101 on Women's Equality Day

Each year August 26 is celebrated throughout the nation as Women's Equality Day. It commemorates the date that the Nineteenth Amendment was certified, officially granting women the right to vote.

We invite League members and the general public to join us for a presentation at the Bluffton Public Library on August 26, 1:45-3:45 pm. Aisha Jones of the Women's Rights and Empowerment Network (WREN) will present Advocacy 101: Strategies, Collaboration and Women's Empowerment.

This event will equip you with practical tools to raise your voice, build collective power, and advance gender justice - because our democracy is strongest when everyone is heard.
