The Town of Bluffton is hosting two “Bluffton History Harvest” events on November 10 and November 17. Bluffton residents are encouraged to bring family photos, documents and stories so event organizers can better understand and document sites and structures throughout the Bluffton area that are historically and culturally important to the African American community. These events are free and open to the public.
The first Bluffton History Harvest event will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Bluffton Library, Large Meeting Room, located at 120 Palmetto Way in Bluffton. The second event will be Saturday, November 17 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Historic Campbell Chapel AME Church, located at 23 Boundary Street. Residents can stop by anytime during the events with their stories, photos and family artifacts.
