Only in the United States is a leg lamp synonymous with Christmas. 

 

Celebrate the most beloved Christmas movie of all time during Painting With a Twist’s “A Christmas Story” paint class and trivia night.

 

There are two events:

 

  • From 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Pooler studio, which is located at 107 Grand Central Blvd., Suite 205, off Pooler Parkway. 

  • From 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Savannah studio, which is located at 512 E. Oglethorpe Ave, Savannah, GA 31401, in Crawford Square Plaza. 

 

The cost is $37 per person. An entertaining art instructor will lead a step-by-step painting of the famous “A Christmas Story” scene framed from the front house window with Christmas lights and the leg lamp on a 16x20 canvas. The evening is BYOB. Attendees are welcome to bring the alcoholic beverage of their choice.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early. Those arriving more than 20 minutes late will not be allowed to paint. Painting classes are subject to change and cancellation for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed.

Painting With A Twist painting sessions are fun art, not fine art. Attendees can sip their favorite beverage and enjoy step-by-step instructions with experienced and enthusiastic local artists. It's a colorful, casual party atmosphere where guests can relax and go home with a one-of-a-kind painting.
