Foundation for Educational Excellence's "Jewels & Jeans" Event

The Beaufort County Foundation for Educational Excellence will host its annual “Jewels & Jeans” event on Saturday, March 2 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Country Club of Hilton Head, 70 Skull Creek Drive. This year’s event will honor Dr. Jane Upshaw for her many decades of dedication to education in the Lowcountry. Proceeds fund innovative teaching grants in Beaufort County's public schools. Grant recipients will be at the event sharing their stories. The evening also features a live and silent auction, great food and entertainment by Deaz Guys.Tickets for the event are available now, but usually sell out quickly. Tickets are $65/person.
