Join us on April 22nd at 6 PM at the historic Campbell Chapel AME Church at 23 Boundary Street in Bluffton for a lecture by Paul Garbarini. Paul has worked in Public History for over a decade focusing on enslaved Africans and their descendants. He is known for his unique research. For the past four years, he has been a Cultural History Interpreter at McLeod Plantation Historic Site on James Island, SC. He has witnessed firsthand the challenges of maintaining a historic property which is open to the public. He’ll share his observations on preservation and interpretation.

Lectures are free and open to the public.  Donations are appreciated.

Dinner follows at the Rev. Isaac W. Wilborn, Jr. Fellowship Hall at 25 Boundary St. Dinner will be catered by Longhorn Steakhouse and is $35 per person.
