Italian Heritage Festival

Date:  - 4:00 PM

Location: Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn 70 Honey Horn Dr., #2865, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926

Maps & Directions

Offering something for everyone, the Italian Heritage Festival presented by the Italian American Club of Hilton Head (IACHH) evolves each year, expanding on the cultural experience, entertainment, and delectable cuisine of Italian American Heritage.

As in years past, food booths will line the pathways at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn with local restaurants serving up portions of their signature dishes, while IACHH volunteers prepare traditional Italian favorites like manicotti, cannoli, and zeppole.

And because everyone knows there’s more to Italy than scrumptious food, there are local business vendors with handcrafted merchandise, an inflatable kid’s zone, art, and live entertainment featuring the Hilton Head Plantation Big Band.  Competitions include the popular pizza-eating and grape-stomping contests.

Also, shop and bid at the famous Festival Silent Auction featuring an array of items including rounds of golf, restaurant gift certificates, art, jewelry, gift baskets, boat rides, merchandise, and trips.

For the first time, this year there will be a Roman encampment presented by Centurions Septimius and Marcus of Legio XIIII, Geminaa historical re-enactment and living history organization based in the United States that recreates the equipment, routines, and experiences of Roman Legionaries from the First Century A.D. for public, private and educational events.
