Memorial Day Block Party & Chalk Art Competition!

Tanger Outlets, Hilton Head is celebrating Memorial Day all weekend long from May 24th – 27th with special holiday sales at many of its brand name and designer retailers. Aside from deep discounts, shoppers can also expect to be entertained by free face painting, balloon artists, games, TangerClub member perks and chalk art! 

Residents and visitors alike are all invited to partake in a chalk art competition at Tanger 2 on Saturday, May 25th from 9am – 12pm. Participants of all abilities and ages are encouraged to help transform the concrete beneath their feet into a vibrant work of art as part of Tanger’s Walk the Chalk competition. Judging commences at noon and prizes will be awarded for:

Individual Artists (16+)
                                                1st place - $250 Tanger GC
                                                2nd place - $150 Tanger GC
                                                3rd place - $100 Tanger GC
Best Children's Piece (15 and under): $50 Tanger gift card 
People's Choice Award generated from votes on Facebook - $50 Tanger Gift card 

Registration is FREE and can be done in advance by emailing your name, age and contact information to [email protected] or by calling (843) 837-5410. Participants are also welcome to register the day of the event at 9am under the Tanger tent. Tanger Outlets will provide each artist with a set of chalk however, participants can bring their own chalk supplies as well.

WHEN: Saturday, May 25th  - Chalk art competition commences at 9am and ends at noon. Entertainment is onsite from 11am – 1pm.
