Join us for a fun day of boating, eating, drinking, games and exploring on Page Island. The event begins with a cruise from Harbour Town over to Page Island, a remote island between Daufuskie and Palmetto Bluff. Once on the island, guests will enjoy an oyster roast and food from Bluffton Oyster Company, live music, drinks, live and silent auctions, games and fun for all ages.

The Page Island Oyster Roast is a fundraiser specifically to support The Outside Foundations Kids in Kayaks Scholarship Fund. Kids in Kayaks is a local program with the stated goal to provide an opportunity for every 7th grade student in Beaufort County to go kayaking and explore the local salt marshes and tidal creeks. This program creates a unique opportunity for students “to learn about the environment in the environment,” through kayaking and interactive dockside learning stations which include water testing, salt marsh food web, watershed model, dock fowling, and more. The Outside Foundation is committed to ensuring that every student who wants to participate in this amazing program can participate. Kids and Kayaks Scholarship funds cover the program cost any student whose family cannot afford the $20 program fee. In 2018, over 900 students participated in the program, including all Hilton Head Island and Bluffton Middle Schools.

The Page Island Oyster Roast is hosted in conjunction with Outside. It is sponsored by Lowcountry Spine & Sport and Dr. John Batson.
