Mayfest

Here comes the 46th Anniversary of Mayfest coordinated by The Rotary Club of Bluffton! We are excited to be back this year and are planning for a great event which will feature more than 130 artists and food vendors.
Mayfest, also known as The Bluffton Mayfest, is considered one of the best hometown festivals in the country and ADMISSION IS FREE!! Get ready for an outstanding event featuring local and regional arts and crafts, great music, and delectable local foods up and down the street, our hilarious Ugly Dog contest and the messy, funny, pie eating contest.
Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival
October 11–19, 2025
Celebrate 21 years of tradition with plenty of activities showcasing locally harvested seafood and Lowcountry cuisine while highlighting the rich history and culture of the area. The celebration culminates with a juried fine art show and street fest on October 18th and 19th.
The highlight of the festival has always been the Street Fest. The 2025 Street Fest will be held Saturday October 18th & Sunday October 19th.
It includes a juried fine art show featuring over 100 artists from ten different states displaying and selling art, delicious food provided by the area’s premier culinary spots, along with great music and entertainment.
Photography Walk and Talk

Join seasoned videographer, photographer, and humanitarian Andre Berg for an unforgettable photography workshop on Daufuskie Island.
Your experience begins with a scenic boat ride from Palmetto Bluff, gliding across the pristine waters of the May River and taking in the untouched beauty of the Lowcountry coastline. Upon arrival at Daufuskie’s storied shores, Andre—who has spent 30 years capturing the authentic stories of people and places through his humanitarian work—will share his expert photography techniques and the meaningful experiences behind his not-for-profit projects.
From there, you’ll explore the island on foot, immersing yourself in its rich history and natural beauty. As you wander through this remote and captivating landscape, you’ll put newfound skills into practice, capturing the essence of Daufuskie through your lens.
Participants must supply their own camera.
