The Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA)’s 2020 Summer Art Camp for kids is now taking registrations. The art camp runs from 9-11 a.m. Monday-Friday June 22-26 for ages 6-9; from 9-11 a.m. July 13-17 and July 20-24 for ages 10-12. The camp will take place at SOBA’s Center for Creative Arts, located next door to the gallery in Old Town Bluffton.

Each week will feature different art activities that will ignite children’s creativity. Children will explore different artistic techniques while having fun. The instructor is artist Mary Burrell a Board, a member of SOBA and the National Association of Women Artists. Additionally, Burrell teaches arts and crafts to preschoolers, aftercare and camp children at Cross Schools in Bluffton.

The cost is $100 per child per week. Registration is limited to 14 students per session. Please have children wear old clothing suitable for painting.  Please do not send children with food. Drinks only. The tuition cost includes all materials.

The Society of Bluffton Artists (SOBA) is a non-profit organization established to promote a stimulating community environment for the visual arts and to assist area students and artists in enhancing their artistic abilities. SoBA is the heart of the flourishing art hub in Old Town Bluffton, located at the corner of Church and Calhoun streets. The Center for Creative Arts is located next door to the SOBA gallery.
