TEDx Hilton Head Women To Take Back on December 7th

Hilton Head, SC, August 2019 –  After last year’s highly successful sold-out event, TEDxHiltonHead Women will be holding its second event on Saturday December 7.  This year’s theme, “Bold + Brilliant”, will offer live talks from 15 dynamic speakers, including thought-provoking pioneers making power moves, brilliant people launching their ideas, and local champions who tirelessly show up as allies and advocates. 

TEDx events bring the spirit of TED’s mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading” to local communities around the globe, and are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community. This year's TEDxHiltonHead Women theme of Bold + Brilliant is being held in conjunction with the national TEDWomen 2019 conference highlighting the ways in which 2019 is the year to be bold and brilliant -  without apology.  All TEDx talks are 18 minutes or less.   

TEDxHiltonHeadWomen will take place on December 7th from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Harbour Town Clubhouse at the Sea Pines Resort, located at 7 Lighthouse Lane on Hilton Head Island.  There are a limited 100 tickets available for the event, which includes breakfast, lunch and attendance at all 15 TEDxHiltonHead Women presentations.  Tickets for the event are $72 and can be purchased at www.tedxhhiwomen.eventbrite.com.

Speaker applications are now available online for those who wish to be considered to join the growing list of dynamic speakers, with event organizers seeking speakers who are both innovative and influential, and who are passionate about their ideas and are able to inform, inspire, surprise and delight audiences.  Individuals are encouraged to either nominate themselves, or nominate someone they know who they believe belongs on the TEDxHiltonHeadWomen stage, via the Speaker Nomination Form found online at http://bit.ly/TEDxHHIWomenApplication.
