Independence Day Pre-Party
Thursday, July 3 | 5–9 p.m. | Martin Family and DuBois Parks
Enjoy a family-friendly evening of music, food, and games.
• Carnival-style games with patriotic prizes (while supplies last)
• Bounce houses and rock wall
• Food and beverage concessions
• DJ Jeff “T-Bone” Taylor
• Live music by the Parris Island “Dirty Boots” Brass Band from 6–7 p.m.
• National Anthem electric guitar performance by local teenager at 5:55 p.m.

Fireworks Display
Thursday, July 3 | 9 p.m. | Oyster Factory & Wright Family Parks
The 20-minute fireworks show will be launched from a barge in the May River and can be
viewed from both parks.
Note: Barge positioning is subject to change due to multiple variables; attendees may need
to adjust their seating location for the best view.

Parking/Shuttle:
Free Palmetto Breeze shuttle from M.C. Riley Elementary (4:30–11 p.m.) to Martin Family
Park. Paid church parking is available as noted above.
Handicapped Parking:
Designated spaces at Town Hall (20 Bridge St.). Free golf cart transport is available for
those with mobility needs.

Road Closures:
For public safety, most roads near the event venues will be closed to vehicles:
• Wednesday evening: Lawrence and Green Streets (setup)
• Thursday, 4 p.m.:
o Calhoun Street (south of Green to Water Street)
o Bridge Street (Boundary to Wharf)
o Local access will be limited after 8 p.m.
Bluffton police officers will staff these intersections for homeowner access (except 8–11
p.m.):
• Wharf and Bridge streets
• Water and Calhoun streets

Dock Closures:
For public safety and to prevent overcrowding and weight restrictions on docks, both the
Calhoun Street Regional Dock and the Oyster Factory Dock will be closed to pedestrians
from 5–11 p.m. on July 3. Boat access remains open.
