Water Water Everywhere with Susan Mayfield

The Lowcountry is known for its intricate creeks, exquisite waterways, and winding rivers. In this workshop, esteemed artist and Palmetto Bluff's October Artist in Residence Susan Mayfield will guide attendees on painting these types of waterscapes using pastels, oils, and/or acrylics. Pastel supplies will be provided; oil and acrylic painters are welcome, but must bring their own supplies. Limited to 12 attendees.

Susan Mayfield is an award-winning artist known for using bold color and luminous light in her pastel and oil landscapes. A native South Carolinian and life-long resident of the Lowcountry, she moved to Colorado 15 years ago, splitting her time between life on the Carolina coast and her home in the high mountain desert of Colorado. Currently, she paints and teaches from her studio in the small mountain town of Salida, CO.
