The Hilton Head Island Difference: Corporate Social Responsibility

Hilton Head Island

The way we all do business has changed. Corporate performance is more important than ever, but there is a new and wonderful focus on “doing good” in addition to doing well. The Hilton Head Island Difference was born of our desire to connect with companies and people who are looking for a way to contribute to a healthier, safer and more sustainable world—one project and one group at a time.

A new way to think about meetings and retreats, The Hilton Head Island Difference is designed to give organizations an easy way to incorporate a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) component into their group meetings. It works like this:

  • Meeting and retreat participants choose a community service project as a part of their event package.
  • They are matched with a participating United Way of the Lowcountry or other local charitable agency.
  • Projects are available for two hours, half day, or full day, and accommodate groups of 10 to 100 people.
  • Package includes transportation and work supplies, as well as optional extras like boxed lunches, group t-shirts, and a video starring your team.
