Come join us at the Heyward House this Summer for Public Days! Public Days are one-hour-long activities, held on the fourth Friday or Saturday of each month through September as a historical and culturally educational experience for children and parents! On August 25th from 11:00-12:00 pm, we will be hosting a quilt block making program. Join us to learn about quilting during the time period, and design your own quilt block from designs used in the 19th century! The cost to participate is $5 for children, and $10 for adults. Adults are not required to participate, but must accompany children for the duration of the program. Reservations are required. Please call the Heyward House at (843) 757-6293 for more information, or to reserve a spot!
*This program is a craft program, not a sewing class. All fabric is glued down, not sewn.*
