In spite of best efforts, litter continues to be a major environmental concern for water quality, human health, and wildlife.  Fortunately for our local waterways, citizens, business owners and governments are implementing strong measures to combat the problem.  Join us at the Coastal Discovery Museum as Rikki Parker will discuss the magnitude of the plastic pollution problem in the Lowcountry and how the county's ban on single-use plastic bags was passed.
