RBC for You, Me and the Kids

Since 1969, Hilton Head Island has been home to the RBC Heritage Tournament—that’s 48 years of plaid-wearing, cocktail drinking and golf gazing. And this year, event organizers are on par to make the tournament even more fun for you, me and the kids. (Note: Children 15 and younger are admitted free as long as they are with a ticketed adult.) Here’s the run down:

Opening Ceremonies — 11 a.m. Monday, April 11

18th green, Harbour Town Golf Links

Kick off the 48th annual RBC Heritage with the tradition of opening ceremonies and the parade, beginning at the Liberty Oak at the Harbour Town Yacht Basin and ending on the 18th green. Each year, the past champion is presented with his Captain of Gentlemen’s Golf plaque and will blast a tee shot into Calibogue Sound in unison with a cannon shot, which officially begins the start of tournament week.
